Does 1hour of badminton every day have any effect in loosing weight......!!!!!!!

Hi Nazeema. Yes 1 hour of badminton will help you lose weight. However, since the activity involves stop & start causing a break in the raised heart rate, you will burn slightly less calories than sustained exercises like aerobics/walking/swimming etc.Also, being the same activity everyday at more or less the same intensity, you may stop seeing weight loss after a certain point in time as your body will get used to it. I'd recommend you do aerobics/walk for 45 min to 1 hr on alertnate days to see good results.

Yes playing a badminton for one hour per day can help you in reducing your weight. This game comes under a ctegory of intermittent aerobic activities. Doing a continuous activity like walking,jogging, swimming, cycling,rowing, aerobic dance,stair climbing and running for half an hour , on most of the days of a week or discontinuous activities like tennis, badminton or basket ball for one hour daily on most of the days of a week can help you reducing your body fat thereby decreasing your weight as well reducing your chances of a heart attack. But if you are about 30 years of age and uncertain about your physical condition ,if you are overweight or suffer from blood pressure,diabetes, cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, you should consult your doctor before starting your exercises. Knw wat evry bdy has answered almost the same thing..but they dint say one thing...yes it reduces weight...blah blah....but it also does one more thing...playing badminton for long time will rupture your hymen...which is proof of ur virginity...so if its a girl just take care of it...now a days, gals loosing virginity is common but if ur from a conservative family, then u shd consider this...cos later on u dnt wan ur bf/husband to question u and blame u for sometin tht u never did...ryt...but however do play for sumtime
