Q.
Seeking to end the row with the EC over his Muslim sub-quota remark, Law Minister Salman Khurshid has expressed regret, saying it was never his intention to transgress the law and undermine the poll code of conduct.- Damage has been already perpetrated -What is the use in crying over the spoiled milk ?

Certainly he has already spoken and conveyed whatever he wanted to say and now when the EC has reprimanded him , he has sought an apology. This way he has already achieved what he wanted to convey. And now the Congress is also playing it down.If at all the PM and President have any morality left they may allow the EC to take a strong action against Salman Khursheed and it may be in the interest of the nation if he is debarred from any further public speech and also from contesting the next elections. If the Congress has any sort of morality left (Which I am very certain it has none left) it may very well sack the minister from the portfiolio of the law minister for behaving in such a wrong manner.
