1.

Sages like Suyagya, Jabbali, Kashyapa, Gautama, Markandeya and Katyayana were included in the council of ministers. All these ministers always kept a watchful eye on the movements of the enemy kings. With the help of their spies, these ministers obtained detailed information regarding what the other kings were doing, what they had already done and what they would do in future. All these ministers were efficient, capable, learned and just. Therefore, King Dasaradha enjoyed peace, happiness, prosperity and all the other luxuries of life.
