Russia is our friend and we cannot annoy our friends unless we suffer by their action. Russians have some problems with Ukraine and Crimea, and we have nothing to do with it... Any wrong action can affect our national interest.

Russia is countering the aggression shown by US in fomenting civil war in Ukraine and post US military a camps. India off late are having closer business ties with Russia. US interests are not our interests. The European Union are trying to capture Ukraine so the IMF and World Bank can rule the country. How Indians are affected by the events in Ukraine that you are wanting India's role against Ukraine? Why such people were silent in case Syrian and North African crisis

Well it depends if it is before or after the get nuclear arms.',
If it's before then lets have this scenario- Iranian attack on Israel. India soon joins the war. With the Indians already in Iraq and Afghanistan this leaves the Iranians surrounded so they strike a deal with Russians Russia selling arms to Iran. To reduce the travel cost and risk of weapons the Russians try to re-annex the Caucasus, India stations troops in Georgia, Russian annexes Azerbaijan and Armenia. The Indians try to block of the arms trade by occupying parts of Northern Iran, this lead to tensions between India and Russia. Because of growing power of NATO the Russians back down. The Iranians with a drastically reduced power demands that Saudi Arabia stop trading oil to India. The Saudis refuse and Iran invades them. The Saudis lose, and the Iranians gain control of Saudi Arabia, and the oil that was previously traded to India. Pakistan joins Iran. Now Iranian influence all the way to Syria and Jordan, but Turke ...more
