He is old mentality person. Neither husband nor wife is 'servant'. Both are equal. Both are creations of God. Sorry, I do not agree with this outdated attitude.

The party that supports this ideology, if elected to power, will bring 'saffron' version of Taleban....

Extremism is bad. Please control.
It is not that we don't believe in the god and religion. But plese do not fool people in the name of the God and / or religion. We really do not need the vulture in the name of 'branded' culture.

They are equal co partners
as quran says , husbands and wives are like clothings for each other meaning they maintain dignity and cover up secrets ,
both are equal in front of allah
men have to maintain their wives and wives should get all they need from husbands
they compliment each other
there is no question of one being servant to other
they both are servants of allah alone

Mohan Bhagwat has gone bonkers. He is an old man so cannot abuse more strong language against him. India suffers from poverty, malnutrition, backwardness because of such regressive thoughts propagated by such 'leaders'.

You are wrong. What he said was, husband and wife are on contractual terms. Any one violating can disown and not as reported by media that if wife violates the terms, husband can disown.
