With the top industrialists and bollywood stars being the owner of the franchise of the IPL teams with huge amount at stake, by what various means will the return to this investment be generated ?

Good for Indian cricket as the sport has always been about money and glam and less about the sport in particular. As for the return on investment well we all kow that there is no business like show business. The marriage between show business and cricket is indeed going to spell boom for all those who have put their money in it. And who have put their money in it. The showbiz offcourse.

It will be similar to the football premier league of European countries. Gate money and advertisements will help the investors to get back their investment.. .. just like in Europe.

I think its too much of cricket even for a die hard fan of the game...
I am loosing my old interest / enthu with these matches held almost every month somewhere around the globe...

I am not feeling IPL that interesting becoz now the game is not played for the country but it is just a money game this is a real nonsense where the player are purchased without any hesitation............
