Q.

Turkey only became a modern nation when its leader Kemal Attaturk declared a war on old traditions and obliterated it.

Should we also declare war on our culture system and embrace an entirely new culture designed by the nation's youth?

Kemal Ataturk was a true modernist. He understood perfectly what ails the nation ruled by a decadent Sultanate, steeped in pleasure and vices and little caring for its people; duly aided by greedy advisors and lieutenants. He did not set out to destroy the culture of the nation but rather made a bold attempt to steer it away from archaic practices, a way o living that had changed little even when everything around them was changing fast with the advent of the 20th century and the turmoil of the first great war.

Simply adopting western culture will not help . See what is happening in Britain now. Uneven distribution of wealth will lead to such situation irrespective of culture you adopt be it Europe,US, Asia or Africa.

Turkey was more close to European culture and Islam tried to changed it to Arabic culture. Kemal Ataturk declared war on Arab culture and reverted back to European. So he was successful. Look at Muslims in South East Asia like Malaysia and Indonesia, there are very few takers for Arab culture. It is India which is a cultural khichdi, anybody can put any ingredient.

He destroyed the Khilafat by bringing western secularism. Khilafat had the solution of all problems. Now, you can see that Muslims are worldwide oppressed because of absence of Khilafat. If there were Khilafat present today, no one can dare to scrach a single Muslim. That's why he is nothing but a traitor.
He had abolished the most comprehensive and reliable system in this earth which was Caliphate system!! He had destroyed the system that had managed and brought human towards success. System that had protecting the Ummah for 14 century. System that had spread peace, harmony, love and justice around the world.

Actually, the effort to abolished Caliphate system had been started from a long time, since the birth of Islam. But, the Islam enemies realized that they did not managed to do that.
