Naxalites are like any other terrorist or militant or separatist orgainsiation with an agenda or policy that is propagated and then the cadres are brainwashed into believing for the cause for which they have joined the organisation and are ready to take up arms and fight the authority or powers that may be, that is legally installed in a any country.

When operations are launched to flush out these armed outfits from whereever it may be, any one who comes upto them is seen as an enemy. Or for that matter, any one who stands in their way in accomplishment of their ideology is their enemy - be it the CM of the State or the SP or the Thanedhar or the Panchayat President. Their ideology believes in selective random actions that brings their cause to notice and give wide publicity. From their side, however abominable it may look to the ordinary citizen, they don't care nor are they worried about public opinion.

So, if a force that was set out to nab them are killed, it brings no remo ...more

From the Naxal's view point, the CRPF Jawans are enemies to be destroyed, as they are the armed group representing us,
the bourgeoise reactionaries.

The CRPF men had launched a operation called green hunt and they were returning back after a three day operation from the forest in vehicles when they were ambushed .
