Q.

Repeating the question: Great South African pace bowler Alan Donald says Sachin = Maradona plus Pele. Is it not too high a rating that is rather unfair to Maradona and Pele? An honest answer please?

Whatever it is not fair to understate Pele to glorify Sachin.
I doubt the desecration of Allan Donald while comparing wit Maradona. Maradona played under the influence of ephedrine and hv the stigma of drug addiction too and banned twice for these offence. Sachin is still going hale and healthy at this age even after continued exposure to cricket because of his good habits.

Allan Donald Himself is A Great Bowler and he had bowled to Sachin and knows his class-His comparison is made on some traits-and He is free to express his views
So I go with him and we all know the contribution of Sachin to Indian/world cricket with such great Discipline !! and when he felt he is not a good captain he did not hesitate to relinquish that post to focus on his batting! That way I salute home Mate !!!

If we will consider to the professional & presonal life of Sachin , then he could be above for sure as the personal life Maradona is too worst as compared to professional life and pele is uncomparable ........ so far as Sachin is concern , he is quite discipline in Personal life & professional life ...........
