India is country with low religious tolerance (compared to other democratic secular countries). But we wont accept this. Is this part of a great culture?

To sort of put things in perspective speak of MODERN INDIA.

On a scale of 1 to 10.....1 being worst and 10 being best, in religious tolrance terms.....India would rank about 7 out of 10 frankly.

In India, airport authority don't strip search u just because ur last surname is Muslim. And cops here don't assume a rich Muslim kid driving a BMW in THane is a relative of Dawood Ibrahim. In the US even there is common concept of "DWB" - Driving While Black. If a young black fellow gets pulled over by the cops in a nice car, a FULL drug search involving tearing the seats apart and using sniffer dogs ALWAYS follows. In India no such thing.

And in western societies like FRANCE, they banned the burka dress as being a symbol of submission as legislation by HIGHEST GOVT OFFICIAL! How is that? How can they associate a piece of clothing w/ status of womeN?!

Please go and live in saudi arabia. then only you will know how much we tolerate all relegions in India. you talk like this in saudia and then see the consequences
