They may not be valid but having Ph.D or PG Degrees will definitely add weightage to the candidate when they decide who should be selected.

Education-- f you see its meaning in dictionary- it says training the mind.
Mind can be trained only by himself. So education is not important - but a trained mind can fit any where
and will be an asset to any organaisation.
What one see in a candidate is how fertile is his mind rather than his qualifications.
We have living example among us like GD NAIDU, Kamaraj Nadar, Dhurubhai Ambani, Shivaji Ganesan,John D. Rockefeller, Horace Greeley, John Glenn, Steve Jobs, Mark Twain, Henry Ford, William Shakespeare, Winston Churchill, Abraham Lincoln, Albert Einstein (high school drop out)-- RV Sir-- are you wonder stuck??
The people who have postal PhD, PG should consider themselves lucky with this order as after all who prefers a government job these days??
