Report says that the Govt. of India is going to deploy one lakh soldiers at the Mcmohan Line in Arunachal i.e. at China Border ! Do you think, this way India could be saved from Chinese aggression ?

I dont think, deployment of solders does not be any effect, but if we build some technical missiles to defend, it will be money and power useful.

I don't know from where this news has emanated and I wonder where the Indian Govt found so many spare troops to be taken out of other places and relocate them in Arunachal. Firstly, I think from a rough surmise of what you have mentioned here, it involves the re-locating of approx. 7 Divisions of the Army with all its logistic support elements. And even if they have to do that, where is the infrastructure to house them in the new place where they are going to be relocated? After all, it is not as simple as constructing a large number of bunkers all along the border and asking each one of them to face the Chinese border!!!!

First let us see, why it would probably be not possible to do that as a decision taken with a short term perspective. We have a vast border with Pakistan, stretching all the way from Siachen to the Runn of Kutch. In the North in J&K, every inch of the border is guarded primarily against infiltration and for that kind of a task you need massive manpower. And to top ...more

Yes we will save from chinese aggression. we have same strength on respect to defence in all forms. nowadays in the global scenario only economic war is possible
