Do you know there is a pond in karbi anglong district ,assam where water is always hot(in fact boiling water) even in chilling winter

Nothing strange about that. Assam is known for its hot springs. there are such hot springs in the Western Himalayas also.

Yes , It is located in Karbi-Anglong District, about 20 kms from Golaghat town and 325 kms from Guwahati.It is is locally known as Goram Pani. The medicinal properties of water of Hot Spring Lake are well known. It is only 65 kms from Kaziranga National Park.

You are talking about Garam Pani, isn't it? I have been there once during my childhood. The water is hot and they say if one takes bath there, some ailments go away.
