Rajya Sabha Nominations : In the state of Madhya Pradesh Mr Vivek Tankha the ex Advocate General of MP is the Congress backed Independent candidate. Going by the present position of MLAs and MPs from this state what are the chances of such a candidate winning the seat . If yes, what could be the possible reason for the Congress on directly nominating his as a Congress Candidate...he probably is a Congress Party Office Bearer. Some more inputs on this expected from friends here who have interest in this matter/subject please ?

Mr. Vivek is a very senior lawyer. He was an opposition lawyer against my company. But still I would say he is really very kind, honest and helful person and it would better for the Indian Parliament to have a member like him. Regards ~ S N Mishra, General Manager
