Q.
Raja Bhaiya has a criminal record and that was no secret. Yet, this didnt hinder his way to becoming a minister in d Akhilesh Yadavs cabinet. After coming to power, SP offered him an imp. portfolio in d Cabinet. People with criminal background have no place in democracy. Democracy arms d people to vote incompetent people out of power. However, people like Raja Bhaiyya who shares close relationship with the political elites, becomes a minister, notwithstanding their scandalous past. It is d prime responsibility of all political parties not 2 shield criminal elements at all. Comments pl.

In the politics in UP, Raja bhaiya is playing important role. He is from Thakur community and he is rival of Mayawati. Thirdly he is having ample goons on his pay roll. These qualifying terms rewarded him Jail minister post. In reality he was supposed to be in Jail. Every each political party is adopting double standard, whenever the power game starts. These problems can be solved only by adopting following two means. Firstly, more stricter qualifying terms for candidates, to be laid down by election commission. Secondly , we, the voters should analyse the ultimate good for the country and vote accordingly. We must start looking beyond caste, religion and short sighted benefits. We must start thinking that in which condition & atmosphere, we are going to handover our country, to the next generation. Are we nurturing our kids enough strong to face the corrupt country. Look at the rate of acceleration of corruption and deteriorating law and order situation. This is NOW or NEVER situation.

That is the truth behind the making of samajawadi party and its CM. The criminals help politicians win the election and enjoy the feasr thereafter. The law including police and judiciary dance to their tunes. They are immune to any action that can harm their proceedings.

You are correct. but when it comes to politics , these people have local fan following and help in build votes /elected members to a party. and to gain power they give a go by for ethics. the onus is on s the janata , not to vote for them. but we the educated class comprise only 20% and the balance do not bother about the competence of the vote seeker and go about casting votes who ever gives them short term benefits

Despite knowing the background of Raja Bhaiya Ahilesh Yadav had managed to give me a portfolio.. If young politicians also start following the practices of their elders I wonder about the fate of this country! But who is to blame ultimately, people who are voting for such kind of criminals.. why cant people stop voting and kick these people out of the government???
