The congress led UPA government has agreed that scrapping of the POTA act in 2004 was a mistake, considering there have been bomb blasts in rapid succession this year. They submitted a 185 page report stating that the existing laws were of no use to deal with terrorism. The commission has recommended setting up fast track courts to settle issues related to terrorism.

Sir, congress is the biggest of liars of all political parties, now with latest indications that it will loose every where, it is making these noises of bringing back pota or some similar laws They are dead sure that if they somehow come back to power, they will again repeal any such law - because they simply want to loot this country and swindle public funds Had they been really serious to terrorism, forget for the time being terrorism of Muslims who are intentionally kept poor and illitrate by successive congress governments to use this 'murakh community' who is not able to see designs of politicians, they have not hanged even the terrorist who killed their own leaders Congress's only purpose appears to be to befool the public and mint money by corrouption or other means whicherever and whenever possible. Of course, we are more responsible as most of the middle class, gives lectures about how to correct these politicians but do not venture out on polling day to cast our v ...more

Please dont be happy abt Congress's reactions; they have plenty of spokespersons who can speak for and speak against POTA or on any given thing; simply saying that the opinion of their other spkesman was his own personal view and not of the party's official line. These are all gimmicks. POTA or KHOTA they will always be doing the divide and rule policy and they are happy abt distributing goodies for the families of the victims especially in such election years. Vande Mataram.

We have our own versions of Mulla Omar and Osama in politics for eg Mulla Amar and and his boss Mulayama. They will oppose tooth and nail for any Pota b,coz traitors had votes and they need it.For them SIMI is a cultural organisation.'Sharam Magar nahi Aati'Main stream political parties had become safe heaven for them. For themselves they need Z security but public remain exposed to wolves.Shamelessly they will annonce 5 lacs each to the dead and then go to home to change dress as if by attending such sad function their dress got blood stains.Investgating agencies including top central are corrupt, incopetent and open to manipulation. To be fair to them existing laws and courts become barriers for promt justice. Those who should have been afraid of coming to Delhi b,coz of their crime record are requested and flattered to come to Delhi straight from jail to vote and save the Govt. What a pity what a shame? We need not only Pota but a RED HOT law by which not a single neck could escape promp ...more
