He is doing a sensible thing you are from rajasthan i will give u one examle of rajasthan in 2002 deluxes volvco bus fare one way was about rs 400 AND today is about rs 900 whereas train fares are still the same.
the rail fares should increased at least once in two years

This is expected from a government which wants to remain in news always -( 130 rupee increase in LPG this month, 20% rise in railway fare next month)

It is long overdue. It will be best if hike is announced in Rail Budget rather than now.
