Radio, once upon a time , was the winner of million hearts and the only device for entertainment - can you recall the opening music - any idea which raga that was ?

The idea of a prelute before a song was started by Naushad, carried forward by Shankar-Jaikishin, Laxmikant-Pyarelal and the songs they composed, in most, prelute music was an essential element. And loved to guess the song which song was going to be played from the prelute music and do it even today

i remember London Calling then this is Colombo, the Voice of America.( i remember the music band). then this is the Far East Brooad Casting Company Manila Philipines.. them Moscow Church Bell music

Yes ! i could recall the signature tune ( opening music ) of the All India Radio & the local radio Stations.....but apropos of the technical angle ( which raga it was ) of the music I 'm clean bowled.....
