Songs written by Rabindra Nath Tagore and the music of them composed by himself or others with his approval; and initially were taught/ learned at Shanti Niketan. They were performed by the artists within the copy right conditions controlled by the'Vishwa- Bharati'. Now when the copy right period is over the songs are the play things of many neo-modern composers/ singers.
