Why most of the doctor's handwritings are so bad

The mistake is from 3 sides
Doctors who forgets that The body is a sanctuary, the doctors is a priest
Patient There is no curing a sick man who believes himself in health
And of course Govt. which thinks We all labour against our own cure, for death is the cure for all diseases.
The medicine field is very different from all other, the negligence of patients, forgotten ethics of Doctors and murky business associated with Pharmaceutical industries with govt. and doctors has led to such situation.
We will devide the question into 3 parts
1. Illegible handwriting.
2. Duplication of medicine.
3. Govt. staying quite as if they dont know anything. ...more

Hi,
Doctor' s hand writings is bad not necessary . But The real problem is the amount of paperwork that needs to be done for each patient.

If you are made the write the same things daily
automatically you get bored and then start scribbling instead of writing
I have seen doctors who have got really beautiful handwriting
especially lady doctors !

THE MAIN REASON IS THAT THEY SEE TOO MANY PATIENTS THAT IT TAKES A TOLL ON THEIR HANDWRITING,FEW WHO HAVE LESSER PATIENTS ARE ABLE TO MAINTAIN IT

One explanation for this is that they are pushed to see too many patients in each appointment slot, and are therefore rushed when writing prescriptions. Another possibility is that it is their use of abbreviations rather than truly bad penmanship that makes the prescriptions so difficult to read.

So that in case the patient dies , he can shift the blame on chemist who gave wrong medicine
