Q.

Do you enjoy watching award winning foreign classics like for example Frederico Fellini's 8 1/2 or Vittorio de Seca's The Bicycle Thieves?
Or would you prefer to see an ordinary Bollywood film with lots of songs and dances but no mental stimulation?

I don't go zeroing in on classics, but when I do watch a film I tend to enjoy it if the makers and staff involved did it 2 make a great piece rather than did it to make some return investments. Whatever the genre, whatever the "wood" it was produced at, the attitude of the movie maker and the staffs can easily b seen in the final product.

If the film had effort, thought and some work put into it, I would enjoy it. If the movie was just made to turn 100 crore into 150 crore, nah, that ain't my shot o' vodka.

If you are into watching classics tho, u might want to give indie film (independent cinema) a shot.

I have rarely seen award winning foreign or regional classics but i do love to watch them or any pre 1965 Bollywood hit , preferably with a good story and good songs.Guru Dutt & Bimal Roy being my favorites apart from Raj Kapoor. Though these days I find it difficult to concentrate on a film for three hours at a stretch.I rarely watch a movie these days and never a new Bollywood movie.
