The 11 incarnation of the Panchen Lama remains in a controversy between.....Gedhun Choekyi Nyima n Qoigyijabu(Gyaltsen Norbu).


According to the Tibetan Government Gedhun Choekyi Nyima is the original Panchen Lama who was chosen by his Holiness Dalai Lama.The Government of China rejected the choice of his Holiness Dalai Lama n went along with Qoigyijabu(Gyaltsen Norbu)....they kidnapped Gedhun Choekyi Nyima and his family in 1995 when he was six years old and he was never seen in public since then.In 1996 the Chinese Government admitted kidnapping the young Lama n his family and disclosed that they were in a safe n secret location n under Government protection.
