Q.

Indian motor racer Karthikeyans world ranking couple of years ago was within 20 (correct me if I am wrong). But is it now dropped to 126? If so what a slump? Your views?

GC, Narain Karthikeyan highest rating at world level was 126 only. Karthikeyan did not participate or either complete the full race hence his real show is yet to come, On 14 June 2009 Karthikeyan dislocated his shoulder in a fall just before the start of the race.

The slump in performance is due to many switchovers from one team to another and even the deal with Vijay Mallaya did not get materialsed , these are small setbacks that might have effected his performance but still he has the potentials to do much better than world rating of 126. Hope to see more of him in next few years.

As a fan of motorsport, I have always been curious to know who are the best drivers, Coulthard said. Growing up back in Scotland I used to read AUTOSPORT cover-to-cover, anything that was in there at the time, irrespective of whether it was single-seaters or another form of racin ...more
