Vigorous sports like brisk walks, treadmill, cardio vascular exercises, cycling and swimming helps you shed fat. Your fitness trainer will advise you to do stomach crunches and squats thereby shaping the abdominal muscles and giving it a leaner look. Aerobics is an interesting work-out and a good way to burn calories and maintain ideal weight. You need to be regular with your exercise regime. Keep the tummy tucked in while at desk.

Eating raw and more of vegetarian food is the primary requirement for a flat stomach because what goes inside shapes the outside. Baba Ramdev shows a very simple yogasana for getting a flat tummy. It worked for me.

It is not exercise that makes stomach flat, its eating less calories and more veggies.
Any thing else is just a supplement.
