Radio specially the FM radio has a very bright future and there is an immense competition amongst the various broadcasters . Delhi alone have ten different regular radio stations , and in other cities this number can not be less (am talking about Metro cities) .

It would be incorrect to say that radio has no future, there are instances when this medium is preferred over others for example when you are in your car and want to know how Indian team is performing then I believe this is the best mode, Secondly it is a good source of spreading new, educating, making people aware about many things (Specially for rural areas)
