The word secularism can be used openly only in India, Even to think of this word in a Muslim country is dangerous

Yes - they should. Jinnah was the most secular leader of the then India. He was thrown out of Congress by its Hindu fundamentalists and out of disgust he left India and settled in the UK. If he was not persuaded by Lia Qut Ali Khan and his wife, he would not have returned to India. When he returned, he returned with vengeance against the Congress in general and Gandhi in particular. Out of grudge, virtually single handedly he created a border, a country and a nation - it is without parallel in world's history. Yet in his opening speech in the assembly hall of independent Pakistan, he said that it is a free country for its citizens and here Muslims, Hindus, Christians will have the freedom to go to their respective religious places - mosque or temple or Church and so on. This was his dream of Pakistan. Unfortunately for both Pakistan and India, he died with the birth of Pakistan. Not necessary.The country`s name itseilf is Islamic Republic of Pakistan.If they want to become secular, Pakistan will have to face further problem.

Jinnah had assured in his first address to pak assembely about secular character to be followed by the state.Islam if practised as per its tenents is itself secular.

Pak should adopt secular system and thier system needs drastic change with immediate effect otherwise they will face drastic steps from UNO world bank etc and they will isolated and their ecomomy will get effected

Pakistan has reached a point of no return. There will be an implosion and the whole nation will be destroyed before rebuilding with the help of others occurs.

It wont work in Pak. As long as religion deviateds to admn, no country can progress.. allsuccesful countries have religionin thier hearts and homes but the systemos not run by these considerations....For Pak,it is difficult to change easily...
