Q.

Psychiatrist Anjali Chhabria, says, Bad boys typically are males who live life on their own terms. They are involved in excessive drinking, smoking, gambling, betting or may also be thugs and players. They are perceived as powerful, self-dependent, charismatic and fearless. These qualities make a man very desirable and attractive in womens eyes. These characteristics are interpreted as masculine and such men as carrying the ability to protect the women regardless of how dangerous the situation may be. - comment

It is all part of the male domination baggage of the past. And that stereo type male character as still depicted in films and serials. This has nothing to do with the real life of such irresponsible characters. These guys are not even able to protect their own life well, how will they protect women? And women dont NEED any protection as women. They only need protection as Citizens of the country. NO SENSIBLE women of TODAY will be attracted by such guys. And nothing can be done with those women who lack common sense! The psychiatrist is carrying a baggage of male domination in her own mind, it seems.

There is nothing new in it..
it was inscribed in women's psyche for protection through evolution ,they are now genetically wired to think that way in their subconscious..cant help stopping that fatal attraction..on the surface,to their conscious thinking, they want a suave gentleman to match their womanly moods..inside, their wild instincts ask for smethng else.......
So , a mixture of both the personalities makes a killing combination..that does not mean , one has to drink, smoke, bet, fight etc..

Protecting women is not an easy job, to be so one shoulebe able to respect the chastity of women which can be said to the most precious asset for women. Those involved in thugs, drinking , arrogance can never be expected to protect women.

You see one thing .what does it mean to say a bad boy?, first thing to consider is he a rough attitude, not interested in his studies?, always trying to make a good looking girls to enjoy all?, is he a desparate or trying to dominate all of his coleagues. I thing a chain smoker or drunker is not bad due to a few reason, may be he is suffering from any type of frustation but sound financial condition but he is always trying to earn money dependly, Dr.Chhabria is a doctor , i am not beyond of her but i am requesting him to look into the matter once more.

She has given a general panoramic view. A Macho picture of men.
High end society women, girls may find drinking , gambling etc a X factor but is not the same with all women.
Women may get attracted to such men but they will not be sure if they want them for life partners. Body guards, a company, yes.
Women will prefer Good Boys over 'bad boys' who are also fearless, moderate in all habits, also are charismatic and fearless. These are masculine and they will be dependable and women stay also protected.

I really do not agree. The qualities that bad boys have or depict are masculine sure, but they will not have the simplicity a woman desires, a gentleness to which a woman is accustomed to or the sensitivity and understanding that a woman yearns :))
