Present government insists foreign investment by companies like Wal Mart , Best Buy or Best Price etc in retail sector. Why Indian companies like Reliance or Tata etc. can not do same job? What are special benefits of FDI over investment by Indian companies?

They will siphon our wealth to their countries it is unpatriotic instead we should encourage local products and companies.
