I believe that nobody is indispensable. Initially we feel we will not be able to manage without someone but very soon somebody else does much better than such a person and then we say 'good, he is gone - now the new persons fares better'.
There are many old and new persons who will do better than him. Former RBI Governor Rangarajan, Montek Singh Ahluwalia can do better in Finance and there are others who are waiting for chance to show their prowess in other areas.
