Poverty can't be ideal except when one fonds for extreme spiritualism, but, then there is no poverty of thoughts, mind & soul.

Tyaag & Tapasya of Kanyakubja Brahmins were translated as fonding for 'poverty & learning'by an English scribe,ab a century back.
