Nobody wants Poverty. But a taste of Poverty & thereafter alienietion / upliftmnet to mediocrity followed by wealthy life would give U more pleasure & U wont become a snob!!

Poverty can't be ideal except when one fonds for extreme spiritualism,but,then there is no poverty of thoughts,mind & soul.
Tyaag was wrongly translated in English as 'poverty'
Tyaag & Tapasya of Kanyakubja Brahmins were translated as fonding for 'poverty & learning'by an English scribe,ab a century back.
