Concentration!! This is the first step in Meditation and is the start of gaining control over the mind and thereby life. The procedure is deceptively simple and seems like it would be very easy to do, but there are few tasks more difficult to master. The idea is to pick an object/subject to place your attention on and then to focus exclusively on it without diversion.

Apne man ke vicharon ko ek anya drishta ke roop mein drishta-bhav se dekhna, unse lipt na hona, aur koi bhi nirnay un vicharon ke aadhar par nahi bananaa.
Ek sud samkalp .. jise ham ek sud vichaar kah sakte hain, lekar baithna a chahiye; Jaise Geeta ke kisi shlok, ya Ramcharit manas ki kisi achchhi choupai ke oopar manan karte huye baithna; aur usee sudvichar me apne astitiv ko bhulaa dene kaa naam dhyan hai; dheere dheere yahi deergh dhyan mein badal jaata hai. ksi adhikari guru se shaktipaat deeksha bhi lena chaahiye.

better go and find any institute or any guru..
little mistake in Meditation can put you in big treble.!!

Meditation is nothing but gathering our mind and get it composed to concentrate on just one thing at one time.. There are many methods to do this Gurdeep. For beginners , practice concentration relaxing your mind ,and so gradually you will learn meditation.
