I do not think so. Sending the tricky situation in which Congress has landed, just trying their best to take their pound of flesh thinking this is the most opportune time to do so. Will end up with many favours.

Any thing is possible in politics.Currently, Karunanidhi knows that UPA is not going o help DMK in any manner.So,why not to discard?Politics of convenience.
