PM's security is the target for the death of a 32 year old earning member a the family at Chandigarh, as the P.M's conference was going on at the Hospital at that time. Can't the security apply their mind for an emergency patient and let him inside despite the strict security?

It is more the mismanagement of the security rather than the security itself. In view of the emergency situation somebody inthe hierarchy should have been delegagted authority to 'breach' the security to save a life and not go round and round for the problamagtic danger tothe safefy of an executive. In fact I cannot help feeling we are overdoing this security drill. I am sure had the PM come to know this situation he himself would have personally takenthe patient to the doctor.I remember with feeling a secne at Ahmednagar in 1942 when Nehru was being escorted tothe Jail there in the train. There was a huge crowd to see him at the station but the security was beating it back. Nehru jumped intothe melee and fought with the security appealing themj to let the people come to him,.
