Leaders of any kind are good provided they act accordingly to norms.their aims should be to the betterment of society and people.formally political leaders had great respect but not now as they have diverted from aims.we have social leaders, religious leaders any one who is not interested in selfbenefir and serve their followers with honesty are god and get great respect.

Leadership is stated as the process of social influence in which one person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task. Definitions more inclusive of followers have also emerged. Alan Keith of Genentech states that, \"Leadership is ultimately about creating a way for people to contribute to making something extraordinary happen.\"
A politician or political leader is an individual who is involved in influencing public decision making. This includes people who hold decision-making positions in government, and people who seek those positions, whether by means of election, appointment, electoral fraud, conquest, right of inheritance (see also: divine right) or other means. Politics is not limited to governance through public office. Political offices may also be held in corporations, and other entities that are governed by self-defined political processes.
In my views a leader is best among these two.
