River/lakes are easy dumping grounds, u'd find hospital wastes, corpse, and what not....Kudos to Aamir khan for highlighting dis issue... shouldn't b blaming da govt always, v can do our bit by keeping our surroundings clean, have seen ppl in plush cars throw out wastes on da road, spit out paan n tobacco on da road...

Yes .indian rivers are no 1 drainage of cities. take ganga yamuna COOUM and Adyar of chennai
