Indian movies are all about songs and dance. So far I think Vaijayantimala is d best Indian dancer of the movies of the golden era - I think she was really trained in Indian dance. But if you have to choose the best dance performed by an actress whom will you choose from the list? Options are: Padmini in mera naam joker, Vaijayantimala hotho pe aisi baath in jewel thief, Waheeda's 'mose chhal in guide, Hemamalinis Nav kalpana nav roopse, Shridevis dance in Chandni, Madhuri's 'sanso ki mala se' in koyla, Aishwarya's 'nimbooda' in HDDCS or any other you feel I missed in the list?

Vaijayanthimala and Padmini are fully trained in classical dancing and later their entry to film world is the result of commerce entering art world . No doubt that had made them all india stars but art being diluted is the fact . Vaijanthimala stills trains students in the art of dancing and Padmini did the same in US . One other talented dancer named Kumari Kmala was missed in the list . She also acted in films and is an extremely talented dancer . To day's dance sequence we see in movies does not have an iota of classical dancing skills and is more oriented to present day modern youth opting for fast movements. .So be it , the need of the time and we have to take it as such .
