Q.

We all see so much suffering around Us.Yet some of us choose to be ignorant, citing various reasons to justify ourselves. The fact is such people are cowards. They are not brave enough to take the risk of disturbing their own peace as they are not confident that they will be able to get it back. Please comment on this opinion.

I don't think any one is ignorant of the misery or sufferings that we see all see around. There are all kinds of injustices in this world, be it in any category such as poverty, the plight of the millions of homeless and begging on the streets, the battering and inquity against women, child labour, the abject abysmal living conditions that many go through just to survive in this world. Every one is aware of it and the only thing that differentiates one from the other is the level of indifference that each one of us may have towards such issues.

Many of us would talk about it and discuss it in the comforts of our home or among acquiantances or friends as a matter of academic interest and nothing more. There are only very few, who can venture out whole heartedly, be a part of an organisation to pitch in that personal best to do some thing about it. That needs dedication, that needs perseverence, that needs selfless sacrifice because one may have to deny the self those opportunities t ...more

Sir , Thanks again for bringing a question concerning the human sufferrings, No one is helping the ones who are hurt, we all too wrapped up in our own lives...YES we tink about them one day but wen tmrw comes, they out of our head...
Its hurts me so much to hear our brothers /sisters and children are killed EVERYDAY.
This all happening becuase the Mercy in our hearts has gone away , This has gone away since God is no more in our HEARTS ,mOST OF THE SUFFERRINGS IS BECAUSE OF THE OPRESSIONS TAKING PLACE
Allah-Most High has forbidden oppression to Himself and it is completely forbidden for us as well .
The Prophet Muhammad said:
"Allah is not kind to him who is not kind to people." [Muslim & Bukhari]
The Prophet also said:
"Those who are kind and considerate to Allah's creatures, Allah bestows His kindness and affection on them. Show kindness to the creatures on the earth so that Allah may be kind to you." [Abu Dawud and Tirmidhi]

Ya it takes a lot to go and help others we are all concerned with our own lives ,we do worry about them and some times make plans for them , the thing is whether we do implement them or not ,we do some good fr people around us , but we dont take further steps to reach out to other people ..so we should allways be ready to take up things at our hand and do some good fr the people around us who are suffering ... and many a tmes its impossible to lend a helping hand tht times we are helpless .

It all depends on the type of peace. What U say is for outer peace and not for inner peace.Inner peace is established only by roughing and polishing.

You are right. I am ashamed. I restrain myself from writing a couple of sentences as it will only be an attempt to justify.
