I was just thinking on these line.. when whole country included bollywood supported voice against corruption.. there is none from the Cricket gave a single voice to Anna Hazzare's movement against corruption.. It may be becoz their boss is Sharad Pawar..who is the most corrupt.. In such case these cricketers are also shareholder when they get so much appeasement in tune of Wealth.. and these wealth is generated by squezing the mass.. Though these stars are brand ambassder for various money thowing insitute..but what about the masses who made them Star from player..

Should Sachin in that case deserve Bharat Ratna.. Bharat Ratna is Not the execellence in a field.. but your contribution to the Country.. How Sachin has contributed to the Country when he has made a huge score for himself and a big balance for his coming generations..

His service is no doubt great, and par excellence, but then he has also made so much financially from the game, and has become Icon, so I would say Bharat Ratna should not be given to sportspersons

He need to be given highest award of the nation for his excellent contribution to Cricket.

Bharat Ratna (Hindi: , literally Jewel of India or Gem of India in English) is the Republic of India's highest civilian award, awarded for the highest degrees of national service. This service includes artistic, literary, and scientific achievements, as well as "recognition of public service of the highest order." Unlike knights, holders of the Bharat Ratna carry no special title nor any other honorifics, but they do have a place in the Indian order of precedence.
