Mr. P. Chidambaram is a competent person and does justice to the job assigned to him. He has just taken over the sensitive and tough Home Ministry. We need to give him time to grasp the finer points and settle in this crucial position. It is not yet time to judge him. Let us wait and see. I am sure he will do better than many others.

Home Affairs is not a Cake Walk, it will take time for anyone to deliver goods.

Even the so called "Loh Purush" home minister failed miserably, when he sent his collegue as body guard for the big Terrorist! To do things in such a country with diverse cultures and cross functioning interests, it takes a super human effort. Let us wait for some time. Opinions are made on results and opportunities, not on likes and dislikes.

He is making standards to home ministry. His dealing the finance in professional way wil help in making the internal states stronger, unified and create a standard for future generation ( focourse better than previous minister). this is not the right time to answer the question as he has had only few days in office and home ministry is most complex of all ministries. Lets give him time to make a better home minister. In terms of pak handling let the job be done by experienced pranab and let home minister do his home work.
