A very valuable lesson that I've learned in 2009 is never trust a stranger blindly, you will only end up feeling at a low and at times also cheated.Face reality, that's the ultimate truth.Rest all is fake.To have a deeper family bonding is that finally matters.Priorities should be given to the family instead of wasting time in other unproductive activities.Being positive n having a deep faith in God helps in improving your confidence.

Though no particular year gives you any specific teaching, but some striking things happen which confirm the traditional beliefs.
(1) The Poor people and rich people think in the same way
(2) Educated people and uneducated people think in the same way
(3) Selfishness of the bigger number of people, known as 'public interest' has to satisfied.
(4) Arrogance can be the traits of people even highest intellectual level
Explanation to point no.1
The Return of the incumbent Governments at various places are quite inexplicable because, most of the returned incumbents did not fare well at all. Only Publicity stunts and wastage of public money for propaganda and some narrow political games at appropriate levels played by parties resulted in this. The paid / hired intellectuals, rich and the vested interested groups worked in tandem and the many of the Government/parties doing worse, have been returned. The basic votes came from the poor deprived class. These poor people li ...more

I have stopped learning lessons now.. have enough of then. I now just see things and try to stay cool about it. What I am going to write here is not a lesson but rather a realization: When you pursue happiness, it eludes you. So my mantra in life now is, do not try too hard at being happy, just accept the current.I remember what my nanaji always says, "Even the worst haircut eventually grows out....."

Worrying about matters over which one has no control is a waste of time because worrying wouldn't change anything. Something, that I came to accept right in the beginning of the year itself and from then onwards, worked towards most diligently to offset the effects of it by entering the same place where I had come out mauled previously, exorcising the demons with in me and going with renewed hope to succeed eventually.
Never be reticent and never be afraid or scared of attempting again where one may have failed once. There is no one in this world who can help us more than our own self when it comes to the crunch because if we don't will ourself, nothing in this world can change for us immaterial how much support or empathy we have from others.
