There is literary saying in Tamil,"Yaathum OOre ! Yaavarum Kelir" meaning all world are mine and all people are my relatives.If that has to happen ,we have to forego our passion for our language etc.

Yes, language is only a medium of communication ,it is better if a common communication medium is evolved to forge better understanding among people residing in a nation divided by different cultures. Undue importance or one inferior or superior does not arise in a honest intellectual purpose. If a language is rich in culture it is enjoyable only for it's literary value and attaching undue importance over it's functional utility is very narrow minded approach and creating disharmony among the people ,otherwise identified and integrated .
