Q.

P.Chidambram has strongly condemned burning of Quran and sought strong action against Pastor Terry Jones.I appreciate his stand but at the same time I ask that is'nt it going rather too far and uncalled for & unnecessary interference in other's affairs, specially when Pakistan and all Muslim countries are quiet on the matter? No offence meant to any Muslims.

India condemned Thursday a planned Koran burning ceremony in Florida, calling on US authorities to take "strong action" and for Indian media to impose a blackout on images of the event, AFP reports.
"The US authorities have strongly condemned the statement of the pastor, religious leaders all over the world have condemned this proposed action, we too condemn the proposed actions of the pastor," Indian Home Minister P. Chidambaram said.

But no muslim organisation planned ever burning of religious scriptures
It is bad thing to do and refeltc hate in hearts of those who want to burn religious scriptures
It is wrong to say that muslim countries are quiet but they are not making too much noises as things have been said to america through diplomatic channels through various govts and organisations .

Our congress led govt never miss any opportunity to show the muslims that they are taking due care of muslims .
This is vote bank politics .
Its our bad luck that we hindus have no good leader & bjp leaders are the big cheaters .
Was there any need to ask for remunaration to IMAMS of mosque , in parlament?
But lalu yadav raised for Bihar election .
So on ...... I hate vote bank politics ,
Unfortunately congress shouting & claiming as secular , has turned into big communal party .

He has only condemned a wrong thing, called a spade a spade. Nothing beyond that Hemant. Others will react to it later in their own way, like Hillary did !
