As Dwidala Vratha is observed during the period instead of Boodagumbala Vegetable, we can give Coconut daana also which is also of the same effect that of Kooshmaanda. However, even you can give kooshmanda (booda gumbalakai), but the person who is the receiver, if he is observing Dwidala Vratha, can utilise once the vratha is over after Uttana Dwadashi.
