To put pressure on India US need not resort to such high level strategy. They can always get whatever they want from India by flattering MMS as a great statement and reminding Sonia that they know all about various bank account in tax heavens where people close to her have parked their money.

The Mumbai attack is to derail Indo Pak peace process. It has nothing to do with Clinton's visit.

Well, if something concrete emerges out of her visit, then the US may have to rethink on its foreign policy in respect of Pakistan at least from now onwards...!

It does not make difference who is coming or not and who is doing what to stop terrorism,We have to decide ultimately what we have to do to stop this forever.

1) Terror or no terror, India is a weak and timid nation and its rulers do not have any backbones.
2) Americans do not have to work hard to tell India to sign on the dotted lines. MMS is more than willing to do it behind the closed doors and not in full public view and that is how this country has always been doing its business since Independence.
3) For more details, you can go through the Wiki Leaks revelations. There is nothing like Indias very own independent decision or strategy. It does not have any.

You have a point.
If our leaders have guts the attacks could have made them more firm on their point to show her that see how Pak is a terrorist nation and this is time USA should stop supporting Pakistan.
