Whatever has happened is wrong the the man with who she had extra marital relations was also beaten up, then it would have been in order

This is the extent they will go to suppress females.
Muslim males can marry four times, as per their personal law.
Extra marital affair is not right.
But such a punishment is too harsh, by any standards.
