Once the great Pele was kicked and booted out from a Soccer World Cup by ruthless defenders of the opposite teams because of inept referring and due to that he vowed he will never return to World Cup Soccer again. Subsequently FIFA tightened the referring rules and introduced Red Cards to eject any player from the ground who indulge in unlawful tackling. Did it not prove effective to protect the great players to play their natural game without fear of hacking down? Your views?
Yes it has been very very effective... Good competitve soccer games can be seen now.. atleast healthy competition is being encouraged due to this as well as minimum physical injury due to unlawful tackling.
