A top Chinese official was today sentenced to life imprisonment on charges of bribery. Li Tangtang, former vice chairman of Ningxia Hui autonomous region, was sentenced to life imprisonment at a court in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality for receiving USD 1.17 million in bribes..The court also ordered the confiscation of the former official's personal assets and stripped him of his political rights for life.- Will India emulate these laws ?
