There are lots of topics on which awareness camps need to be conducted, especially for children & students....1..In schools and colleges politics is not taught .Students dont read newspapers ,nor are aware about how our country is ruled , what happens in our country everyday , what crisis we face, what kind of rule we have , what is the price of goods we use, the wages of people and what developments are made etc. Even gorwn ups dont even bother to know more about what happen each days and some dont even vote. These students are our future, when they will learn about our country whose citizens they are....... .2,Awareness has to be there in bringing up children also . Children are pressurised a lot to score marks in exams ,and to make them future Accountants, Doctors and Engineers. There are many other fields in which children can excel But hardly parents nor schools try to see what capabilites each child has. A routine syllbus is ther and routine way of conucting exams...... ...more

It depends on for whom the awareness camp will be held. Age, education, economic and social reality concerning them. A highly educated young people and the people gasping under exploitation and mal-nutrition and superstition cannot have the same priority.

Where can a woman who wants to learn about self-protection go for information and advice...? We believe that every woman should know that a crime might happen to her, and she should know how to avoid it, if possible, and how to deal with it if avoidance isn't possible. Knowing your attacker does not change your right to self-defense, and it should not change your conviction that you are worth defending. 'Fighting back' is not an effective option unless you are taught precisely how to fight back. When I was invited to deliver a guest lecture on 'Self-defense to women: Boon or bane...?' at the women's college in Jaipur, recently, I delivered the same outlining all these, needless to say, it was just like an awareness programme :-)
