I want to for a family trip to Shimla from Kalka by Toy Train. Can any one guide me whether we can book thru online ? What is the train number and what will be the cost? Also can anyone tell me some good hotel (budget) to stay in Shimla & also good shimla package/

MakeMyTrip is offering a good Shimla package and that too at very nominal price, why don't you try this one as you don't want to manage all the things by yourself itself when you are enjoying your holidays.

Try indianrail.gov.in for enquiry and irctc.co.in for booking online. Station name should be typed as Simla (not Shimla). Suggest try makemytrip.com or yatra.com for hotels
