Does anyone know that why keeping "laughng Budhha " at home is considered to be lucky as per feng shui?

Laughing Buddha is regarded as an avatar of Maitreya who is considered to be a future representation of enlightenment in Buddhism. Since Maitreya is associated with happiness, which can be considered to be an extension of having enough to eat and living a contented life, Laughing Buddha is represented having a belly. He helps to overcome sadness and obstacles, and offers a smooth ride filled with happiness throughout the year. He is said to have a face that is very smiley to signify fulfillment and joy.

Laughing Budha also considered as the representation of an eccentric Chinese monk who lived many years ago. He was considered to be a man of good nature and was always seen carrying a cloth bag with many items like rice, sweets for the children and food for the poor. He may also be seen sitting on a cart drawn by kids or holding a fan that was considered a wish fulfilling fan. See , generally laughing represents the happiness and if we will see the structure of laughing Budhha it's fat and smily....... fatness also the symptoms of luxury and budhha means Knowledge........ so keeping a lughing budhha in house gives mental satisfaction...... the meaning of that is a house with knowledge and happiness always brings luxury(wealth)...... if that is the case every person will keep an idol and will be rich.....so only a satisfaction which gives peace in mind

In simple language...feng shui signifies the Laughing Buddha as a sign of contentment....and a happy sign to attract more happiness...which is what we strive for...cherish...isnt it !
